RFS – INTERMODAL MOBILE MECHANIC – NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – $21-28/HOUR
Job description
Reliable Fleet Services provides intermodal equipment maintenance and Over The Road repair as part of the Marino Group of companies.
We need Mobile Chassis Mechanics for our Charleston location; capable of:
- Road calls
- FMCSA inspection and repairs according to DOT regulations.
- Wheel end repairs, (wheel seals, tires, cam shafts, etc.)
- Tires (10.00-20, 11X22.5, 11R22.5)
- Electrical (marker lights, wiring & troubleshooting, etc.)
- Locking devices (Pins, twist-locks, latches, keepers, slider assemblies)
- Landing legs & braces. Suspensions (adjustable/nonadjustable radius rods, spring hangers/equalizers, misc. brackets)
- Air system (air valves, air chambers, air lines/hoses, troubleshooting ABS systems)
- System knowledge structural (welding, cutting, inserting, etc.)
- Gate Inspections of Intermodal Equipment
- Operating computers and/or basic technology system required
Experience preferred but will train the right candidates.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour

Experience:
Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
