CBP – PAINTER – LADSON, SC – PAY VARIES ON EXPERIENCE
Job description
Charleston Blast and Paint is looking for industrial painter with experience (preferred)
- To operate and maintain spray painting equipment for application of various industrial coatings
- Fluent in the understanding of coating product data sheets and the related Safety Data Sheets
- Understands SSPC Standards and how they apply to surface coating
- Have a general understanding of all equipment, paint, ventilation, compressed air, and PPE; related to the application of sprayed, rolled and brushed products in the industrial environment. To include but not limited to: Various Urethanes, Industrial Zinc Epoxy
- Comprehend Mil Spec and profile requirements, measurement policy and maintain required reporting documentation
- Understand how humidity, temperature, surface profile, etc. affects final product and measure/monitor throughout workflow process for reporting documentation.
- Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Employee shall be clean shaven for proper seal fit of respirator protection; equipment must be worn at all times while performing painting
Experience: Industrial Painting: 2 years (Preferred) willing to train
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Valid Current Drivers License Required
